The Social Works Pondicherry University organised five days training from 19-12-2022 to 23-12-2022 on Engaging Youth and Adolescents in  Disaster Risk Management & Climate Change Adaptation The Project Director, Social Work Department requested the Indian Red Cross Society, Puducherry to depute the Red Cross life members, co-ordinator and volunteers As per requested the Project Director, Indian Red Cross Society deputed 32 volunteers from Puducherry and Karaikal region   for above training. Prof. Gurmeet Singh, Poncidcherry University Vice Chancellor was Chief Guest inaugurated the five days training.  On 21-12-2022 the Hon’ble Lt. Governor- cum- President (IRCS) attended the programme and delivered the key note address on Disaster Risk Management Training. In the training various NGO, in Puducherry and Karaikal were participated and benefitted. Certificate also were issued to participants
